Alun Jenkins

Seventh generation Jenkins Potter

After graduating in 1969 from Cardiff College of Art having studied Ceramics, Alun Jenkins returned to Ewenny to work with his father Thomas Arthur Jenkins and Uncle, David Jenkins. Alun and his wife Jayne bought the business when his father and uncle retired in 1976. A new workshop was built on the site of one of the old kilns and Alun and Jayne continued to develop glazes and designs still maintaining the look of Ewenny. After a long career Alun and Jayne are now semi-retired and work part-time.
